I have a 1984 190D 722.414....Any idea if a 1987 190E with a 722.400 will work. I can change the Vacuum mod and cables? Thanks for any help...Ves

When first starting car when cold, delayed shift into D or R. Also clunk when slowing down to a stop. When I put car in W mode, slow down and no clunk. I know the car starts and stops in second gear when in W mode. Is trans shot or Should i check Servo? Thanks John.

I need information on where I can purchase a used or have my transmission re-built. I purchase the Mercedes with 80,000 miles and now the car will only go forward and locks-up when I placed it in any other gear.

i have a prob with reverse on a 95 sl320, automatic but feels as if clutch slipping badly in reverse, ok in all forward gears, have been told by local specialists that the transmission will need overhaul at a cost of £1800. is there anybody out there that can help save my wallet :) box is a 722 507 (typicall...

Car drives perfect, except reverse does not engage at all when hot. It does engage real slow when cool, like first drive in the morning. 92 400E
