I have an '83 Porsche 944. This is going to sound pretty stupid. I took this 3-bolt cover off the side of the transaxle. A spring and seat assembly poked out. Now I can't get this cover back on, and the transmission will not shift gears. How do I replace this cover? This is driving me nuts.
