My 300te 4matic has been acting up. It drops to 2nd gear after warming up while driving. Sometimes it revs as if in nuetral. By putting it into nuetral andn back into drive I get 3 and OD back but often not for long. I checked the vacuum line for leaks, the modulator for signs of fluid and even swapped the kick down with one from my other car which fuctions well. Any ideas before I drop the tranny?
Hello Mark, I think about your problem for a wile, but I am sure there is no other solution ales trop the transmission. You have a leak probable on the K2 clutch this causes the gear fallen in and out.
