The transmisson in my 1983 308SL slips when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. After about 10 minutes of triving the slipping stops and the car shifts great. I have changed the fluid and filter and the modulator valve. But neither has helped
Hi, it seams to me your car having a problem because of its age.
Take the additive Lubegard you get it from Napa store, ad the hole boodle to your transmission, this my help,-not right after you added it after a week or two you should feel a different.
You also can increase a little the working pressure on the trani, this my help, to bridge the leak.
If nothing help, you need to rebuild your transmission.
