I have a 87-190e with a 722.409 tranny and reverse slips or no engagement at all .what is the likely cause.? thanks

Hi, the problem of your cause is most likely that the B3 clutch is leaking or the friction are worn out.
There is not a easy fix, the transmission have to be rebuilt again
