I own a e38 730dA /2001 (vin... DN51058) and seems like I have a problem with my torque converter (oem code: 24401423297). it's a bit loud and when i got it out it doesn't spins freely. on a part of the surface you can see the metal turned blue, meaning that i have a metal 2 metal friction inside in that area... witch is not normal I suppose.
I have a ZF 5hp34 gearbox.
Do you have the torque convertor available for my car since some mecanicks told me that the torque converter is different at my e38 from other models with ZF 5hp24?
If you have the torque converter where is the "eurotrans" situated? how much will it cost to ship it 2 bucharest romania?
thanks for answering and if you cand send a copy 2 my mail.
Hi, yes we have all torque converters. But you have to locate a converter in Europe, we are in Usa Atlanta, Ga. The shipping from here is to expensive.
Thank you Herb for answering. I think I have to cover that shipping 'cos I can't find any torque converters here in EU. (or what I'm findig are 2 damn expensive) If you have any hints where can I find please tell me... but for 5 days I'm turning google upside down for this torque converters and I'm not finding anything decent. so please find exactley the torque converter that I need for my car from the VIN nr. and OEM part nr that I supplied you earlyer. Ask about the shipping 2 Bucharest-Romania... about the costs... and the shipping time to know exactley. Also please tell me how do I pay for the torque converter 'cos for the shippment I think that I pay when I recive the package... or I can pay for everything when I recive? I think that we will have a good colaboration. tks p.s. please excuse my writeing, as you can tell English is not my primary language.
