Is the 4hp22 capable of supporting high horsepower engines with some modification ?


I am building a e34 M5 turbo engine with a power target of  aprox.750HP.


I hope to be able to use the lockup with a high(er) stallspeed of some 3500rpm.

Hi, with the 4HP22 we have no good experience on power engine.It depends what version of 4HP22 you use.?  Only after meager modifications the transmission is capable to hold more torque and don't burn off.
You should change the transmission my to 5HP30 when you have a large horsepower increase
