HI. i HAVE A 1987 190e MERCEDES BENZ 2.6 THAT HAS BEEN SLIPPING WHENEVER U KICK DOWN TO ACCELERATE .U HAVE TO EASE OFF THE ACCELERATOR FOR IT TO BITE. CAN U HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM?

Hi, your problem can be many reasons, you should start by adjusting the transmission correctly, kickdown cable and modulator box.


After this you still have problems, find out in witch gear exactly the problem exist,

I have found damage in the k2 drum area and changed the parts involved. also the k1 drum spring  have been changed for the modified spring kit. when I road test it I will pass on the results to u all, until then thanks

Hi, I think that your problem is the seal rings on the front pump.(The two teflon rings)
