I recently bought a 1988 Volkswagon Golf GTI. I do not have 5th gear and was wondering if a bushing kit with a new shift linkage would help. If anyone has any comments to my problem or helpful solutions, maybe even a cheap runnin 16 valve transmission, please contact me through e-mail. Thank you for your help.
