Hello all, i am guessing this is the forum of tranny gurus. I have a question. I have a bmw 1995 525i with ~115k miles
when i put R it takes about 3 secs to kick in and may be once or twice a week when i stop and go i feel a slip. Ppl asked to to change tranny oil filete gasket all done and added tranny help fluid.
I spoke with my mech he says its prob tranny giving up....any other ideas? the repair will be costly and I really dont want to take that dent in my wallet.
Hi, sorry to hear your problem, but there is no magical solution. You need someone what pinpoint the problem on the transmission, it is hard on your explanation to provide a exactly diagnose !
