after installing a new rebuilt transmission,what I received from europeantransmissions, the trani will NOT shift, I take the car to two jaguar dealer ships for adaptation,- the shops are not able to perform or find the problem what causes it not to shift. It shows a error code of "730 intermitten gear ratio" The conclusion from the dealerships is the transmission is faulty!
I received a other transmission from europeantransmissions and installed, the same problem. I am tired of the hassle and towed the car from North Carolina to europeantransmission in Georgia and let them fix the problem
After four days the car run perfectly.It tuck me a wile to find the problem.The shift gear control unit was faulty.(Gear selector switch.)In this case, jaguar don't have a sophisticated diagnostic tool to scan, like as example Mercedes have with the DAS system.
