what does it mean when the tranny wont engage propelly in reverse? I own a 1992 300 se 4 door, it s an automatic it sounds like it wants to go but just slips, slow to engage
Hi, this means your reverse go out soon! It is a common problem by the Mercedes transmission that the reverse go,-- frictions plates on reverse all broken, or the seals on the reverse piston not function because of seals to old and hard, or when the friction are broken the piston travel way is to long and the seals brake. This are only some of the failure what happen in the most cases.
