Hello all, i am guessing this is the forum of tranny gurus. I have a question. I have a bmw 1995 525i with ~115k miles when i put R it takes about 3 secs to kick in and may be once or twice a week when i stop and go i feel a slip. Hi I just salvaged a 750il which sat in a garage for 2 years. I have a 1989 735i with a six cylinder. the car only goes in reverse. I have found a low milage tranny in a 1989 735iL but it has a V-12 in it and the dipstick is on the passengers side. my question is, will the v-12 tranny fit into the 6?
