Wondering how long a 'Hard Reset' should last? It was explained to me today, by a reputable independent, that leaving it 'unplugged' overnight is way over-kill. Trying to confirm if it had proper time to reset. Also, where can I find out who remanufactured a particular transmission? TIA, Trevor E...

Hi :) I rebuilt the tranny on my BMW 750i ´89 - a ZF 4HP 24 - a few months back. I also dissassembled the valve body and replaced the gasket etc. After the rebuild i´m getting very rough shifts into 3rd gear - and when the trans/engine is cold, then all shifts are a bit rough, but do smooth out after a few minut...
